Your new company
You will be working for a leading energy commodities supplier who supply aviation, marine and industrial fuel. They are a FTSE 250 business with offices in Canary Wharf and every corner of the globe.
Your new role
You'll be working as a Trainee Supply Analyst working closely with fuel traders in the UK and globally. You will be finding fuel suppliers and negotiating to ensure the best service and price possible is provided.
You will be exposed to high level, complexhedging strategies and taught how to identify and implement these strategies yourself as you develop within the role.
You will be working with large data sets daily and working closely with senior team members to identify opportunities in a highly competitiveand challenging market.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be fluent in both French & English both verbally and written, you will need to be able to conduct tough negotiations and be able to discuss complex numerical analysis and hedging strategies.
You should be very analytically inclined and have experienceanalysing data either in a professional or educational context. You should be very comfortable using Microsoft Excel and using functions such as PivotTables and VLOOKUP's etc.A degree such as Maths, Economics or Finance or previous experience working in aSupply Chain role with an analytical focus would be ideal.
What you'll get in return
