Our team at the Housing, Planning, and Cities is responsible for managing the budget for the Department of Levelling Up, Housing, and Communities. This involves collaborating with the department on policies to boost housing construction, enhance affordability, and reduce disparities between regions in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing HM Treasury's regional growth strategy, with a focus on understanding regional dynamics and leveraging policy tools to drive growth.
  • Overseeing approximately £4 billion in annual spending across local growth budgets, ensuring efficient use of taxpayer funds.
  • Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders including government officials, local authorities, and experts in the field.
  • Leading and managing a team to provide direction, mentorship, and support for professional growth.
