Receptionist / Front of house - £14p/h - 3 Months (Rolling)

Multinational financial services company based in the City of London near the bank now requires a Receptionist/front of the house on a three-month contract to support and run the reception desk and help managers with onboarding new starters and be the friendlyface for them on the first day.


The Receptionist will also have the following responsibilities:

  • Providing a friendly and secure front of house service.
  • Being the point of contact for new starters including access badges, supporting managers on the onboarding process and being the friendly face on their first day.
  • Opening and distributing the post on a daily basis.
  • Endeavouring to ensure any consumer/customer post is scanned and sent to the Consumer Solutions team as soon as it is received.
  • Supporting People Forum
  • Providing support for selected colleagues with supplier queries and purchase orders.
  • Managing communal supplies such as Milk, Tea, Coffee
  • Coordinating cleaner activity
  • Arranging meeting supplies (ordering food, drinks etc.)

The ideal Receptionist will have the following skills/experience:

  • Previously worked in a corporate environment
  • Strong background working in frontofhouse services.
  • Confident and able to deal with difficult decisions.
  • Good communication skills

This role does require you to be onsite in the City of London 5 days a week and is paying £14p/h (inside of IR35).
