The Role:

Bagnalls, the top painting and decorating contractor in the UK with over 145 years of history, is seeking a Lead Generator. This position is not often publicly announced as we prioritize retaining our employees, helping them advance, and offering uncapped commissions based on successful orders.

  • Salary: Competitive hourly rate of £13.15ph with a realistic OTE of £35,000+
  • Hours: Flexible hours per week. Part-time options available.
  • Location: London (Teddington) branch with hybrid working flexibility.

Hybrid Working: At Bagnalls, collaboration is crucial. While we value in-office interactions, we understand the need for flexibility. After training, we provide options for hybrid working or adjusted hours to accommodate personal commitments.

As a Bagnalls Lead Generator, you will reach out to potential clients via phone and email, showcasing the company's services in commercial and industrial settings. Building relationships with key decision-makers across various sectors, such as healthcare and education, is pivotal to persuading clients to choose Bagnalls for their painting and decorating requirements.

To thrive in this role, you must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and follow instructions.

Responsibilities:

The Lead Generator/Sales Representative role is primarily office-based, emphasizing the need for proactive engagement to secure new business opportunities.

  • Identify prospective clients through diverse research methods, including leveraging social media platforms
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs to effectively present Bagnalls' offerings
  • Complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs)
  • Maintain the client database

Essential Criteria:

  • Outstanding verbal communication abilities
  • Confidence in establishing connections with senior executives
  • A pleasant and professional telephone demeanor
  • Proficient written English skills
  • Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office tools and a willingness to learn internal databases
  • Quick grasp of all business aspects

Desirable Criteria:

  • Prior experience in the construction industry
