Claire at Amber Mace is recruiting for a compassionate and dynamic Registered Care Manager to lead a small residential home, providing specialized care to individuals with communication difficulties and learning disabilities.

Oversee the daily operations of the residential home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care.

  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of care staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and standards in line with regulatory requirements
  • Create, review, and update individualized care plans tailored to the needs of residents with communication difficulties and learning disabilities.
  • Ensure that all care plans are focused on achieving positive outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making necessary adjustments to improve service delivery.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and opportunities for staff development.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions, ensuring staff have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Support staff in achieving professional qualifications and career progression.
  • Monitor financial performance and report to the owner/director.
Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
Ability to manage budgets and financial resources.
Experience in developing and implementing person-centered care plans.
Knowledge of current best practices in care for individuals with learning disabilities and communication difficulties.
