Business Development Representative

with a "go getter" sales hunter mentality to join our fast-growing sales team.

As a member of our professional sales team, you will both follow up on marketing inquiries as well as hunt for new business opportunities with the goal of setting appointments for our global salesforce.

This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that likes to work hard and have fun while they are doing it All reps will be ramped up with a progression of virtual training, meetings with peers and business partners, and live practice to begin their sales journey.

This is a full-time, base salary plus commission role (commission is uncapped).

Responsibilities:


Proactively seek out new business opportunities through outbound calling to engage, consult, and set appointments for field Sales Executives.nFocus on outbound campaigns and business development activities (calls, emails, social media) as well as promptly following up on inquiries coming from our awesome marketing programs.nLeverage proven consultative sales methodologies to analyse the prospect's businesses to address their changing automation needsnLeverage current technology to develop and manage a follow up cadence to systematically nurture potential leads that aren't quite ready to buy.nParticipate in interactive training & educational sessions in order to stay abreast of changes in Sphera solutions, sales, and the industry.nConsistently achieve and/or exceed daily activity and sales targets.


Requirements:


Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial Inside Sales environment.nExperience working with clients/customers in a sales oriented environment - Experience selling over the phone and cold calling a plus.nDynamic personality that comes across over the phone and ability to engage potential clients with your confidence and presentation.nYou are adaptable and can think on your feet.

When faced with new challenges, or tough conversations, failure simply isn't an option.nBachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing; or equivalent work experience.

n1+ year of sales experience, with a successful track record in solution-based selling environment highly preferrednSoftware and/or software as a service (SaaS) product sales highly preferrednBusiness to Business (B2B) sales experience highly preferrednSelf-motivated, high energy individual that can thrive in a competitive but fun team environmentnMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsnProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointnExperience with or other CRM tool(s) highly preferrednMust be fluent in German and English
