  • Who are we: Everton Football Club is one of world sport's most respected and revered names a byword for innovation and professionalism during the course of a glittering history that spans three centuries.

One of the 12 founder members of the Football League, Everton has played more games in English football's top flight than any other club.

While rightly proud of our rich past, and Goodison Park, our home of more than 130 years, we are now setting our sights on an exciting future at a state-of-the-art new stadium currently being constructed on the banks of the iconic River Mersey.

In doing so, we remain committed to developing and supporting teams across our men's, women's and Academy set-ups that inspire and compete at the highest level of the game.

Our values underpin how we behave, how we represent our club in our city and across the world of football, and how we look after one another and our community.

They provide a framework for how we work and engage with partners, suppliers and, most importantly, our fans.

About the opportunity:

As we embark on our final season at Goodison Park and enter a new chapter in our history, we have a brand new, exciting role for a Accessibility Lead to join our Stadium Operations team and take ownership of the wide-ranging accessibility offerings and facilities at our new home, Everton Stadium.

You will oversee the allocation of appropriate seating during the sales window and thereafter, the management of all onsite and offsite parking available to disabled supporters, the management of prebooked accessibility matchday shuttle bus services and the management of facilities such as the Sensory Room, Sensory Box, Quiet Rooms etc.

Working hand in hand with the Stadium Operations and Fan Centre teams, with the main focus being Everton Stadium, you will be deliver expert advice and guidance, alongside contributing to the development and implementation of strategic policies, practices, and action plans.

You will function as the Club's Disability Access Officer, supporting the provision of inclusive, accessible facilities and services, and will work closely with the Disability Liaison Officer to assist with queries from disabled supporters throughout the season, and on matchdays, non-matchdays and other event days.

In adopting this element of the role, you will celebrate the very best of Everton Football Club's traditions and values in managing the front-line relationship between the Club and our disabled supporters.

You will collaborate with other stakeholders across the Club to ensure we're fully inclusive and accessible across all Club sites.

Who we are looking for:

We are searching for a forward thinking, confident, enthusiastic, collaborative, determined and personable professional, who demonstrates a desire to embrace merging concepts and technologies, whilst marrying these with existing good practice and relationships with our fans.

Interpersonal and influencing skills are essential and being able to inspire and drive delivery across a wide range of E&D areas.

This really is a great opportunity to work alongside great colleagues, where we put our people and our fans at the heart of everything we do.

This position is on a permanent contract working 35 hours per week.
