The RolenWe are looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Assistant to join our team in London, based in the UK head office.

This is a full-time role reporting to the Director of Content and working alongside the Senior Social Media Manager, positioned within the marketing team.nYou will assist the Senior Social Media Manager with writing, creating, editing, scheduling and monitoring social media posts, as well as community management across all channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube)nAs a Social Media and Content Assistant, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.

You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company's views creatively.

ResponsibilitiesnAssist with creating social media content and researching interesting hotel and destination storiesnSchedule all content using Sprout SocialnMonitor the social media inbox across all channels- action and respond to incoming messagesnShare social media coverage with stakeholders and compile hotel coverage reportsnCreate fun and engaging TikToks, whilst ensuring all content is on-brandnSuggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitionsnAssist with facilitating individual influencer staysnMaintain and update influencer databases globallynAttend meetings with travel and lifestyle creators and influencersnResearch upcoming trends and updates within the social media landscapenSupport with compiling itineraries and schedules for press trips and photography tripsnContribute to research as required to support the team in the creation of new campaign ideas, media partnerships and features

Essential skills and requirements

Excellent knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and other social media best practicesnAn impeccable eye for visuals and photographynKnowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and LightroomnKnowledge of the ever-evolving social media landscapenExcellent copywriting and editing skills with an eye for grammar and accuracynAbility to deliver creative content (text, image and video)nInterest in travel and hospitalitynGood understanding of social media KPIsnUnderstanding of the influencer industrynGreat interpersonal, presentation and communication skillsnExcellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasksnHighly self-motivated and happy working without supervision
