Role Overview

As Social Media Content Assistant, you will support in the day-to-day execution of all social media channels, through innovative, edutaining content, to drive reach and engagement on all channels. You will have a strong passion for social media and storytelling, with an unstoppable imagination and desire to produce best in class content for Space NK social media channels. You will report into the Social Media Video Editor and work closely with the Social Media team & wider Marketing teams to deliver out of this world 360 campaigns for social media channels. The Social Media Content Assistant will be primarily responsible for supporting with the day-to-day execution of content creation across our social media platforms and help to take our content to the next level with innovative ideas and creative flair.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting with day-to-day execution of all social media channels. Support social media team in content creation across all channels, constantly developing new ideas to produce innovative & engaging content, filming & editing where necessary. Support social media team to produce reactive social media content that is responsive to trending conversations, cultural events, and platform trends. Serve as onscreen talent for social content, delivering charismatic and authentic performances that resonate with our community. Attend Space NK events and stores regularly to support team to capture live footage and produce social first video content. Support video editor and wider social media team in the editing of short form content for all channels. Support all social media coordinators in content creation briefs for influencers, brands, founders and creatives to deliver engaging and innovative content fit for Space NK social media channels. Support the social media team with in-house shoot productions for all platforms, arrange and coordinate samples for social content production, including internal social shoots and influencer partnerships. Support the video editor with YouTube shoot productions, assisting with the set-up and pack down of shoots. Support the YouTube Social Media coordinator with the planning and organisation of YouTube content, liaising with wider teams to organise talent for shoots. Support video editor in an efficient and organised workflow of video content to ensure video deliverables adhere to deadlines. Assist all social media coordinators in the scheduling and publishing of content across platforms line with the social media content calendar where necessary. Monitor content across social platforms, sharing relevant UGC with the rest of the social media team for use within the content plan. Keep up to date with the latest social media trends across all platforms, sharing with the rest of the social media team to inform content planning. Support the social media team with weekly reporting of performance across platforms. Conducting regular content & competitor audits, sharing thoughts and opportunities with the social media team. Key Skills and Experience:

Knowledge of all social media platforms A keen interest in social media and its impact within the wider marketing mix Passion for the beauty industry. Creative flair Strong content creation skills, including filming and video editing. Basic knowledge of editing tools such as Cap cut Pro. Confident and comfortable on camera with the ability to create reactive content quickly. Strong copywriting skills Strong analytical and numerical skills High attention to detail Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills A problem-solving approach Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and influence effectively.
