As the hospital looks forward to the opening of our Elective Surgical Hub in July 2024; seeing an extra 6000 operations every year, we're looking for an additional band 6 physiotherapist to join our team. This is an exciting time for therapy services as we take our opportunity to shape the future of the hospital, Trust, and local community.

Supported by your Service and Clinical Team Lead, you will be a fundamental part of our evolving multi-disciplinary service - triaging and reviewing arthroplasty patients virtually or at home following acute hospital discharge. We are a therapy service supporting those who have had arthroplasties. We are passionate specialists who strive for the best'. We can offer the role with flexibility; this can be discussed on a 1-1 basis.

Success will see you utilise your sound clinical knowledge and experience as well as your excellent time management skills to work autonomously. These skills will be developed within a friendly and energetic team of physiotherapists, nurses, and therapy support workers across all disciplines.

In return, we can offer you a warm and friendly welcome from the Therapies and wider Solihull Team, a starting salary of 35,392 rising to 42,618 with ongoing education and personal development. This, along with a public sector pension, 27 days annual leave (rising with service) and the opportunity to make a difference within our communities.

This post will require participation in the on call rota at Solihull Hospital.

For further information on the role please contact Sarah Hughes, Team Lead () or call the team on

Face to face interviews will be held on Wednesday 19th June 2024
