Working with Young people, you will be providing support to help build independent skills to prepare care leavers

  • A high quality, effective, sensitive and appropriate support service to young people aged 16 to 21 who have low high support needs.
  • The necessary support to enable the young people to maximize their potential and enable them to as live as independently as possible
- a safe and secure environment for all residents

  • Work directly with allocated Key Child/ren to conduct Key Sessions relevant to their current needs.
  • Carry out appropriate needs and risk assessments with new residents within 24 hours
  • Take responsibility for safeguarding Young People through adherence to the organization's safeguarding policy and procedures
  • Report repairs, renewals, health and safety concerns etc to appropriate colleagues in a timely manner

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract, Volunteer

Pay:
Up to £12.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 8 per week

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • A-Level or equivalent (required)

Experience:

  • Support work: 1 year (required)
  • Experience with children: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Enhanced DBS (required)
