About Us: The First Contact Team is part of the Central Services team for The Advonet Group. They are the first contact into the organisation for all referrals and enquiries. You will join a team of three, who provide information for all parts of the organisation. We do receive calls from people in distress, so you'll be able to handle all manner of calls and know how to navigate the difficult ones resiliently.

Role Overview: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who has a passion for upholding the rights of the clients we support. You will be friendly and approachable with a knowledge of the services we offer. You will have attention to detail and be able to navigate the systems we use. You will be able to work with the other members of the First Contact Team to ensure work is completed on time. You will be able to communicate effectively with our staff, clients and professionals who contact the organisation. You'll need to be fully computer literate and accustomed to using different software systems (Windows and cloud-based databases) in order to ensure our referrals are handled effectively. Ideally you'll have knowledge or experience of how advocacy services work and be used to dealing with sensitive and personal information, whilst working within the law in respect to data protection. Full training is provided.
