Job Title: Purchase Ledger Administrator

About the Company:
Join our Finance team, led by the Financial Controller, in this exciting role It is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress in their career. As a Purchase Ledger Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Purchase Orders and related invoices.
  • Prepare and process payment runs while adhering to deadlines.
  • Reconcile payments with creditor analysis and resolve any overdue invoices.
  • Log daily transactions and manage petty cash.
  • Process foreign invoices and assist in month-end processes.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and communicate with vendors.
  • Maintain accurate supplier information.
  • Assist in managing a small fleet of vehicles.

Requirements for the Ideal Candidate:

This position is perfect for someone who is eager to learn and challenge themselves. We are looking for an organized individual with a keen eye for detail and a deadline-oriented mindset.


  • Purchase Ledger Experience: over 3 years (preferred).
  • Good knowledge of accounts payable processes.
  • Experience with Sage or another ERP system.
  • Familiarity with EDI is a plus.
  • Proficiency in reconciliations and payment processing.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt and embrace change.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
