Contract Details:

Be part of a dynamic team with a Permanent, Full-Time contract. You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, with core hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is key to meet business demands.

Salary:

Joining this exciting journey comes with a competitive annual salary of £55,000.

Our client, a well-established distribution company dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, is seeking a skilled Fleet Manager. In charge of ensuring compliance, safety, and driving continuous improvement, you will be at the heart of the company's operations.

Responsibilities:

As the Fleet Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements for all vehicles and trailers
  • Collaborating with the senior leadership team to enhance customer service
  • Monitoring and analyzing data for areas of improvement
  • Managing vehicle maintenance, repairs, and replacements
  • Reporting accidents or incidents
  • Maintaining FOR's accreditation and Earned Recognition

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Holder of Transport Manager CPC
  • Knowledge of the working time directive and driver hours
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience in fleet compliance

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Additional certifications related to fleet management and experience in the distribution industry would be advantageous.

Technologies:

Proficiency in relevant fleet management software is a plus.
