Registered Senior Service Manager

This role requires a well dedicated and highly reliable Individual to provide good strongmanagement for up to 12 small and medium services in and around Leicester, Leicestershire.

You will ensure that outstanding service are delivered and are specific to the needs and requirements of each person being supported.


Key Responsibilities of a supported living manager:

  • Recruitment and selection of staff matched to needs of service users.
  • Management and support of a team of senior staff.
  • Deployment of staff to meet the needs of service users.
  • Ensuring continuous, reliable, and consistent service delivery at all times.
  • Maximising positive outcomes for all service users.
  • Performance management.
  • Auditing and Quality Assurance.
  • Compliance with CQC & commissioner expectations and standards.
  • Contract management.
  • Providing excellent customer care to all stakeholders.
  • To directly line manage, mentor, and supervise staff working within the service.
  • To be a handson leader who will support the team leaders and senior support staff to achieve outstanding results across the supported living services.
  • To develop tools and methods of having input and oversight over the 12 sites, working in a hand on ay, setting the highest examples to staff and gaining a real understanding of the needs of all service users.
  • To ensure that service users receive individualised personcentred support which enables them to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, to participate in the community and to develop their abilities as fully as possible.
  • To work with our housing team to effectively manage a number of properties where we are the managing agent, with responsibility for voids and repairs.
  • To register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as the Registered and Accountable Manager the supported living services.

To be accountable for the overall quality of the service and to ensure that it complies with the required quality standards andrequirements of Creative Support, CQC and the service commissioners.


Supported living Requirements:

  • Ability to articulate and communicate a progressive vision for the delivery of learning disability.
  • Familiarity with current government policy and accepted good practice in the provision of a learning disability and supported living services.
  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to listen sensitively to others.
  • A high level of customer focus and the ability to lead and manage a team to provide excellent customer service.
  • A nonjudgmental, accepting approach to working with adults with varying needs.
  • Demonstrable skills in working effectively with people who have learning disabilities including people who have personal care needs.
  • Car driver.
  • Willingness to provide local training to employees.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours according to needs of the agency and service users
  • A relevant professional qualification NVQ 4, 5 or above.
  • Degree level academic qualifications /management qualifications.
  • Experience of evaluating, monitoring, and reviewing services.
  • CQC Registered.
