An exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk is required for an
immediate start at a world Class Manufacturing company in Basildon.
This is a temporary-permanent position working 40 hours a week Monday - Friday, paying £ £12.50 per hour depending on experience.
The key duties in this Accounts Payable Clerk role will include but are not limited to:
- Raising and posting invoices to the ledger.
- Reconciling supplier statements ready for payment.
- Post Payments to the ledger and allocate.
- Handling multiple currency transactions.
- Dealing with supplier queries.
- Matching supplier's delivery notes to invoices.
- Handling and reconciling fuel card payments.
- Answering phone as required.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Accounts Payable Clerk role:
- Proven experience of working in accounts payable with high volume of workload to tight deadlines.
- Strong problem solving abilities, attention to detail and reliability.
- To work effectively on your own and as part of a team, with a positive 'cando' attitude.
- The ability to prioritise workload.
