The Job:

We are now looking for a commercially minded and astute FP&A Analyst to join the business. You will be highly analytical with experience of FP&A.

You will be able to handle large amounts of market and commercial data partnering with both commercial and operations teams.

The role includes budgeting, monthly forecasting, strategic plans, and project work.

This role would appeal to someone who has an inquiring and curious mind, likes variety, a fast-paced environment, and is excited about where this role could lead them in the longer term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting with the production of high-quality management reporting packs as the needs of the business evolve (Continuous improvement mindset)
  • Designing high impact visualisation of financial analysis and data sets
  • Supporting with the population and sanity checks of month end reporting presentations
  • Ability to quickly identify errors in data sets and improvements required
  • Liaison with other Departments alongside the Group finance team to derive high quality variance analysis
  • Supporting the roll-forward of monthly forecasts including consolidating inputs
  • Development of forecasting & budgeting models – supporting the Head of Group FP&A with the evaluation and refinement of processes as the Group grows
  • Supporting the Head of Group FP&A with reporting to senior stakeholders on group performance providing analysis and reporting to support business goals
  • Providing timely and accurate financial data to facilitate decision making
  • Ad hoc financial analysis
  • Supporting and identifying opportunities for Continuous improvement of financial and business processes
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Microsoft Office (Excel / Power BI / PowerPoint)
  • Finance qualifications including UK GAAP knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of key financial processes including Budgeting, Forecasting, Modelling and Reporting
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • Strong data handling skills
  • Strong understanding of 3 statement financial modelling
  • Knowledge of financial KPIs
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools
  • Strong analytical ability and experience in insightful reporting
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in non-technical terms
  • Ability to understand complex problems with an attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
