Retail Marketing Specialist - Southampton - Salary £30,000

A Retail Marketing Specialist is required for our client based in Southampton to support the Head of Retail Marketing with brand campaigns, retail accounts and promotional activity online and in-store.

You will be responsible for planning and optimising campaignsand promotions to drive growth and deliver expected account performance.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch. This will initially be an office based role with hybrid working options after probation has been passed.

Duties:

  • Work with the Head of Retail Marketing to set marketing goals and objectives for business accounts which will grow revenue
  • Drive cobranded activity with given accounts and ensure all marketing material is consistent by liaising with brand segment leads, PR and digital teams where appropriate
  • Work with relevant account managers to agree retailer activity and investment, managing budgets and implementing ROI measures to evaluate success
  • Coordinate and maximise the coop budget for related campaigns
  • Develop strong working relations with key given accounts whilst focusing on prioritising important objectives for the business
  • Drive traffic and conversion by working with retail accounts to optimise the customers journey
  • Work with the EMEA team to plan and execute local point of sale requirements
  • Regular communication with key stakeholders regarding brand campaigns
  • Regular reviews with SAMs, Field Sales Team, store staff and key account stakeholders to maximise effectiveness of retail channel marketing initiatives
  • Support the sales team in the development of retail channels and attend meetings when required

Key skill requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Economic, Marketing and/or Communications or equivalent
  • Experience in trade marketing or retail marketing
  • 3+ years experience with agency management
  • Competent with MS Office and Google Analytics
  • Excellent anility with HTML/online content management systems
  • Track record of people management skills
  • Organised and analytical
  • Strategic thinker and goal driven
  • Strong knowledge of marketing communications
