The Royal Devon was formed in April 2022 following the integration of two former organisations the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust and the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust.
This is an exciting time to be joining the Trust There is a balanced financial plan in place, the team has worked tirelessly to place us within the top ten for the reduction of waiting lists, and our ED is the ninth most improved in the country.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Trust Director of Operations (Eastern Services and Trust-wide Care Groups) holds accountability for all Eastern services operational delivery, including the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital site and a Trustwide operational portfolio of Care Groups.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing the Trusts Financial and Operational Plan, alongside the organisations Clinical Strategy and other enabling strategies.
A proven track record in the NHS of developing high-performing teams that deliver safe, high quality and efficient services to our staff and patients.
~ Senior Management Experience :Previously held a senior management position with regular exposure to an Executive Team and the Board.
