Our client, an Audio-Visual events company, is looking for a talented and creative Marketing Manager to join their team based between 2 offices in Essex and Central London, where you will play a key role in enhancing the company's presence in the events industry.
To succeed in this position, you need to have a strong background in implementing effective marketing strategies and initiatives, ideally within the events sector.
It is crucial that you possess expertise across various social media platforms, along with skills in copywriting and CRM.
Knowledge of SEO, Digital Ads, and eCommerce is also vital.
Given the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the events industry, this role involves hands-on involvement, diverse tasks, and frequent travel to events and client meetings both in the UK and internationally.
- Manage the annual Marketing department budget, forecasting, and reporting in collaboration with the Commercial Director
- Lead the planning and execution of the company's communication strategy in relevant sectors
- Supervise the company's PR strategy across various media outlets to enhance and sustain its reputation
- Handle the company's CRM strategy using Hubspot to generate monthly e-shots for the Sales team
- Direct the development and maintenance of the company website, ensuring updated and relevant content, enhancing functionality, and advising colleagues on optimization
- Participate in networking events to promote the brand and support sales efforts as needed
- Oversee the social media strategy and scheduling across different platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and others, including content creation, crafting engaging captions, managing messages, and providing reports
- Collaborate with the Commercial Director to establish, track, and predict an accurate Marketing & Communications budget
- Define and manage KPIs for all marketing activities across the organization
- Stay updated on trends within the event industry and maintain awareness of legal and financial standards
- Utilize market research techniques and analysis methods effectively
- Demonstrate strong capabilities in performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
- Capable of interacting with individuals at all organizational levels, particularly senior management
- Familiarity with software tools like RMS, Hubspot, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite
