Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the site production to work efficiently and effectively to drive productivity.
- Inspiring, managing and motivating the production team to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, with mínimal errors and wastage.
- Ensure production planning processes are aligned with customer demands and shipping needs.
- Appropriately plan, manage, and deploy all resources in the most costeffective manner for the business.
- Recruiting and overseeing the training of staff; ensuring teams and individuals are competent and effective.
- Optimising all resources (machinery, equipment, people and materials) to maximise efficiencies.
- Ensuring quality KPIs are met, identify and drive through improvements where needed.
- Ensuring all machinery and equipment is properly maintained.
- Ensuring safe working practices.
- Controlling and managing stock levels to enable an effective 'Just in Time' process.
- Ensuring key performance indicators are in place.
- Overseeing the maintenance of the fleet to reduce vehicle downtime.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements, and company policies and procedures.
- Giving full support to the QC and H&S representatives, as well as your supervisors.
- Lead by example having a positive leadership and attitude approach.
- Ensure your teams work effectively and cohesively.
- Provide data and reports as required, in a clear, concise, and agreed format.
