London, Greater London, United Kingdom NELFT North East London Foundation Trust Full time

We are recruiting Primary Care Network Mental Health Practitioners for the Redbridge area.

A Primary Care Network (PCN) is a group of GP practices that work together in a local geographical area. We are recruiting for one vacancy in the Loxford PCN

The role has been co-designed by our Mental Health clinicians and GP colleagues, with the aim of improving patient access to mental health care and support. As an additional resource based on the patients' GP surgery, your role would include assessing patients' needs, signposting them to support resources, referring to other services and, where appropriate, offering brief intervention.

The post-holder will be employed by NELFT and will be a member of the local Mental Health service team, supported by a line manager and peers, but will be based in a Primary Care Network working in Loxford PCN premises.

This is an exciting time to join the team as we are developing relationships and building links between Primary Care and local Mental Health and Wellness Teams. We are looking for people who are keen to broaden their experience and embrace working in new ways with the wider primary care team as well as NELFT colleagues.

Main duties of the job Loxford PCN

We are a thriving Primary Care Network (PCN) based in vibrant Loxford PCN locality. Comprising 5 General Practices within proximity, united by a shared vision of exceptional patient care and a strong sense of community.

We seek a talented Mental Health Practitioner to join our well-established ARRS Team. By expanding our workforce, we aim to better support and enhance healthcare for our local patient population.

We are deeply committed to the growth and success of our staff. As such, we offer opportunities for continued professional development, weekly protected time, clinical supervision, regard to the HEE Quality Framework, and unwavering support from our MHP Management Team and additional workforce. Our dedicated MHP Management Team provides strong leadership support, guiding and empowering our team throughout their journey with us.

If you are interested in taking on a new challenge and possess the skills to strengthen our team further, join us, and together, let's make a difference in people's lives and the NHS healthcare system.

Immediate openings are available with up to a month's induction, ensuring candidates are fully equipped, confident, and successfully integrated within our PCN. About us Starting with NELFT

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.
