ABOUT US
Pro Gym Solutions are a thriving business based in Colchester, Essex. We build and install fitness equipment in popular gyms across the UK. We also offer other services such as offering storage space, logistics, relocating equipment, laying gym flooring, servicing and repairs.
Due to rapid company growth we are currently recruiting for multiple positions within our warehouse such as operatives and supervising and coordinating the warehouse.
Our warehouse has only been in operation for a few months and we are looking for someone proactive and forward thinking to come on board, organise the warehouse and manage goods in and out.
The warehouse team will work closely with our management team to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.THE ROLE
The role will include but not be limited to the following;
- Loading and unloading cargo from trucks using a forklift and pump truck
- Picking and preparing goods for loading out
- Supervising logistics of receiving, warehousing and dispatch operations
- Inspecting goods received and reporting any damages or missing items to the Office Manager
- Warehouse stock control including scanning goods in and out using Google Sheets
- Waste clearance
- Implementing new processes
- Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed at all times and carrying out health and safety training for other members of the team
- Communicating and interacting with clients, vendors, suppliers and customers
- Building gym equipment
- Supervising junior members of staff whilst they are at the warehouse
WHO AND WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Experienced warehouse supervisor
- Computer literate, ideally with experience using Google Docs, Forms and Sheets
- A dynamic and hard working team player with a willingness to learn
- A good communicator with customers and colleagues
- A passion for delivering great customer care and service to each individual client needs
- Someone who is adaptable as we operate in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
- Have a high attention to detail
- Confident in working in a team or as an individual
DESIRABLE QUALITIES
- Experience in managing and/or organising a warehouse
- Computer literate
- Fire marshal trained or willing to undertake training
- First aid trained or willing to undertake training
- Experience using both hand and power tools
- Hold a driver's licence and be permitted to drive vans.
- Have your own vehicle to travel to location base.
