Apprentice Quantity Surveyor

Join Skanska as an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor and play a key role in the HS2 (High Speed Two) Main Works project, specifically within the Tunnels & Shafts team.

Skanska, in collaboration with Costain and STRABAG, is responsible for the HS2 Main Civils Contracts covering Euston Tunnels & Approaches as well as Northolt Tunnels. This project entails various tasks such as tunnels construction, shaft sinking, bridge work, and earthworks.

As an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor at Skanska, you will be immersed in the commercial aspects of construction projects, preparing you for a successful career in commercial management.

What you'll be doing:
  • Manage costs and budgets on construction projects
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members
  • Prepare tenders and contracts
  • Learn to value completed works

Who you are:

  • GCSE in Maths and English (Grade A-C/9-4) essential
  • Comfortable with computer software and numerical data
  • Team player, curious, organized, and self-motivated
