We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Land Manager to become part of the dynamic team at Vistry North East Midlands, located in Enderby office, Leicestershire. As a Land Manager, you will directly report to the Land & Development Director, holding a key responsibility in identifying and securing land opportunities to fulfill the company's needs and expansion strategies. This role demands a high level of autonomy, with tasks ranging from sourcing potential land deals to overseeing every aspect of the process until land acquisition, calling for a comprehensive understanding of legal, planning, development, and commercial aspects of each project.

Key Requirements:

- Experience in negotiating and managing complex legal agreements

- In-depth understanding of Local Planning Authorities in the East Midlands
- Proficient in budget management and financial analysis
- Strong negotiation and networking capabilities

- Capability to influence and persuade others
- Willingness to go the extra mile to meet business demands

Desirable Skills:
- RTPI/RICS qualification or working towards one

More about the Role:
- Represent and advocate for the business unit within the East Midlands property sector
- Establish and maintain relationships with key land agents/owners in the region
- Identify immediate and long-term land opportunities
- Present proposals to landowners and agents
- Negotiate legal agreements and oversee the procurement process
- Prepare and present bid proposals to the Regional Board
- Manage the acquisition process and provide necessary support
- Aim to secure a minimum of 15 sites annually
- Acquire land in alignment with the annual Land Strategy priorities
