Legal Secretary Position in Colchester

A legal client in Colchester is seeking a Legal Secretary to join their Wills, Trusts, and Probate team. This role involves providing crucial support in guiding individuals in making decisions about their personal and financial affairs.

The Role:

  • Carrying out legal research
  • Assisting in taking calls
  • Liaising with third parties such as probate registry and estate agents
  • Assisting in document production and distribution
  • Communicating with clients and organizing Wills signings
  • Handling administrative tasks and drafting documents in Probate matters

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a secretary, preferably in Wills, Trusts, and Probate
  • Good understanding of Wills, Trusts, and Probate
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Team player with the capability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
