As part of the H&H Group, H&H Insurance Brokers is Cumbria's leading independent insurance broker, specialising in agricultural and commercial insurance and with a client base throughout Cumbria, South-west Scotland, North Wales and the North-East of England.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Claims Team Leader to join our in-house claims team.

Ideally based in our Carlisle office, the role will include:

  • Processing and resolving agricultural and commercial claims, ensuring timely settlements.
  • Liaising closely with insurers, loss adjusters and other relevant parties while acting as an agent of the client during claims.
  • Maintaining accurate claims records and provide insights through monthly management information updates, supporting informed leadership decisions and operational improvements.
  • Leading efforts to refine internal and external claims procedures, promoting innovations to the leadership team that align with our company purpose.
  • Taking ownership of the learning and development of the claims team.
  • Maintaining uptodate knowledge of compliance standards and regulations, ensuring the team's operations are in strict alignment with industry requirements.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with our clients, including providing first line contact facetoface or telephone support.
  • Ensuring the client is treated fairly and that the client receives excellent service.
