  • HR0158568The University is seeking an enthusiastic purchasing professional to join their team on a fixed term basis (18 months). As Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for purchasing activity across a varied range of categories, for both goods and services.


Reporting to the Senior Procurement Officer, you will play an important part in processing the university's day to day purchasing needs.

Primarily supporting faculty order fulfilment, you will maintain effective customer and supplier relations and promote good purchasing and procurement practice.

You will need to be a well-organised individual who can work collaboratively within a small and friendly team environment and will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Some experience of working within the public sector or HE procurement environments is desirable but not essential.
