Housing Officer Role

Sellick Partnership is currently assisting a large and fast-growing social housing organization in Bradford with the recruitment of a Housing Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage new tenancy sign-ups in accordance with the allocations and lettings policy and procedure.
  • Engage with customers to address rent and service charge arrears, ensuring all stages of arrears recovery are followed and customers are supported to reduce their arrears before legal action is taken.
  • Utilize appropriate legal remedies to ensure tenancies are ended efficiently and in line with legal and regulatory requirements when necessary.
  • Collaborate with customer safety colleagues to ensure regulatory and legal requirements are met in relation to fire, gas, electrical safety, and water hygiene.
Requirements:
  • Experience working within a similar housing officer role or ASB role.
  • Full UK driver's license and access to own vehicle.
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check or currently possess one.
