Currently, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Hertford Office and work closely with the Head of Supply Chain.Description of Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inbound Planning and Execution:
    • Coordinate inbound logistics efficiently, from transportation to customs clearance.
    • Collaborate with both internal and external partners to ensure accurate product documentation.
    • Manage invoices and paperwork reconciliation with the Accounts team.
    • Monitor and optimize inventory levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.
    • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards during material reception and handling.
    • Work closely with suppliers to plan and execute timely deliveries.
    • Manage the serialisation process for compliance with industry regulations.
  • Monthly Supply Chain Planning:
    • Take part in monthly cross-functional supply chain planning meetings.
    • Support the Supply Chain Manager in creating and managing supply plans.
    • Generate Purchase Orders using internal accounting software.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Perform quarterly reconciliation of Controlled Drugs portfolio.
    • Oversee the destruction process to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Manage short-dated product processes in collaboration with various teams.
    • Support new product launches by fulfilling set up requirements on time.
  • Export Planning and Execution:
    • Work with logistics partners to plan and execute compliant collection of goods.
    • Ensure quality standards compliance and handle outbound logistics.
    • Complete export documentation and declarations accurately.
  • Quality Compliance:
    • Strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all supply chain processes.
    • Ensure regulatory compliance in all activities.
    • Monitor product quality throughout the supply chain by following SOPs.
    • Maintain quality and compliance during import and export activities.
    • Initiate necessary controls and improvements for continuous process enhancement.
  • Customer Service:
    • Handle customer queries related to stock status and maintain availability tracker.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
    • Ambitious self-starter with keen attention to detail.
    • Proficient in administrative tasks, preferably using MS Office.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to anticipate issues, think ahead, and work cross-functionally.
    • Strong planning, coordinating, and reconciliation abilities.
    • Highly organized, with multitasking skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Prior experience in supply chain or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
