Duties:

  • Contribute to delivering a Front Door service effectively to support and safeguard children, young people, parents, and carers
  • Handle enquiries and referrals promptly, ensuring feedback is provided
  • Support MASH transformation and new approaches to ensure timely and high-quality service
  • Process enquiries, referrals, and requests accurately, highlighting urgent matters
  • Support training and learning initiatives to enhance service quality
  • Respond professionally to enquiries from various organizations and the public
  • Undertake administrative tasks and maintain records and resources
  • Collect and organize information for service monitoring

Requirements of the Contract & Referral Officer:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current registration with Social Work England
  • Understanding of Safeguarding, Children's Social Care, and Early Help
  • Respect for privacy, cultural diversity, and confidentiality
  • ICT systems knowledge and data inputting accuracy
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Self-organization, workload management, and ability to meet targets
  • Experience in children's social care, family support, and public-facing roles
  • Proficiency in navigating and utilizing ICT systems
