About the Role

Croydon Council is seeking a skilled Procurement Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of effective sourcing processes for sub-threshold procurements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the procurement team in the delivery of sub-threshold procurements, ensuring compliance with public procurement legislation and contract law.
  • Provide advice and guidance to client services on sourcing sub-threshold procurements, working closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with purchasing and procurement processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of existing suppliers on Oracle Fusion, using this information to support the sub-threshold sourcing process.
  • Ensure that signed contracts are lodged in the contract repository and that contract award notices are published on Contracts Finder.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide advice on sub-threshold procurements, drawing on an understanding of contract law and public procurement legislation.
