Hours of Work

  • Fulltime to include 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day.
  • Shifts on average 68 hours, including a 30minute unpaid lunch break.
  • Closed Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 27th December and New Year's Day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively drive sales through innovative visual displays, highlighting new arrivals and seasonal themes
  • Assist teams with stock replenishment
  • Provide feedback to the buying team on best and poorperforming products
  • Identify and clear slowselling and damaged items.
  • Seek inspiration from lifestyle, demographic and design trends
  • Train the retail team in merchandising standards and ensure high customer care
  • Help to plan and execute any shop moves
  • Communicate ideas for prop or display pieces with our inhouse carpenters and builders
  • Use your excellent product knowledge to assist customers and operate the till when required
  • General cleaning, dusting, hoovering of displays and shop floor
  • Previous experience within retail as a Visual Merchandiser.
  • Knowledge of Garden Centres, Homeware and/or Farm Shop products would be advantageous.
  • Highly organised with an analytical approach to problemsolving.
  • Capability to withstand long hours of standing, lifting and working from heights (within HSE guidelines).
