Our Dagenham depot are currently looking for a talented Transport Administrator to join the team on our afternoon shift. The main purpose is to provide support to the drivers once they have completed their drops. The role of an administrator is extremely varied and vital to the entire warehouse and transport team. You will be supporting with day-to-day administration, withboth your colleagues and our customers.

What you will be doing:

  • Fully brief and debrief drivers, regarding delivery performance
  • Investigating driver adjustment queries
  • Filing and preparing paperwork
  • Inputting driver adjustments and credits using SAP
  • Cash office duties
  • Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues both internal and external
  • Maximise the uptime and manage transport related technology including invoices, vehicle and telematics technology
  • Answer and respond to incoming and outgoing telephone calls as appropriate, in a professional manner
  • Work within operational procedures, always adhering to Health & Safety requirements.
  • Check that the dekit of vehicles has been completed efficiently in line with our internal process
  • Log all customer information including Credit's, Overs, and feedback drivers' concerns
  • Meeting and exceeding business standards for regular auditing
  • In addition to these duties, you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business, where appropriate training will be provided.
