What you will be doing as Divisional Sales Trainer:
- Manage and monitor training requirements in your area, ensuring that training is scheduled in advance and published to maximise attendance.
- Consistently deliver continuous development for each role.
- Support the development of engaging training solutions that improve skill and capability and give a return on investment.
- Facilitate national training programs.
- Act as an ambassador for people development, promoting a learning culture.
- Determine individual and wider training requirements with managers.
- Be a product champion proactively seeking opportunities to coach and provide expert advice to others and cascade knowledge.
- Explore new training and development methods to support the development of the training proposition.
- Deliver events and workshops to support projects and development programmes.
- Take part in assisted visits to observe/give feedback on skills and to identify individual training needs.
- To support resourcing, ensuring that new recruits have a positive onboarding experience; setting up new starters to succeed.
- Travel as required, with overnight stays when necessary.
- Comply at all times with the letter and spirit of the Company's Health, Safety & Environmental Policy, Equality & Diversity Policy and Code of Business Conduct and Behaviour.
- Ensure training is compliant and delivered to the company and FCA policy and guidelines.
- Share best practice and lessons learned.
What we're looking for in a Divisional Sales Trainer:
Essential
- 6 or more years in training for sales teams
- Previously worked within a customerfacing sales environment
- Focussed and enthusiastic
- Excellent communication skills
- Selfmotivated
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong business orientation and influencing skills
- Excellent organisation skills
Desirable
- Industry Experience
- A recognised training qualification would be advantageous.
