Our client is seeking a specialist ESG and Sustainability lawyer to join their legal team based in London. You will work in team of 3 ESG specialists focusing on ESG and sustainability topics.

This role will be focused on providing legal advice to their legal entities globally and business teams on ESG and Sustainability particularly on non financial disclosure.

Develop and implement new frameworks and procedures to the business. Manage ESG legal risk to support with sustainability reporting. You will be essential to the collaboration of ESG and raising awareness to the business.

To be considered for this position, you'll need to be a qualified lawyer with at least 3 years' of legal experience in ESG and Sustainability gained from a well respected law firm or financial institution/(re)insurance company.

You have experience of managing legal aspects that affect complex multi jurisdictional matters.

Understand ESG regulations across the EU and internationally, risk management, the impact on both the asset and liability side of balance sheets.
