About the role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a
QA/QC Inspector to join our Major Projects team to work in
Sellafield.

**
Role Purpose

  • Ensure Safety is the highest priority on the project, with a continued strive towards Zero Harm.
  • To ensure that Quality Control for all areas of the BEP project are compliant with the relevant legal requirements, Sellafield Ltd standards, European and British Standards, nonEuropean standards and project procedures.
  • To support the Project Managers in adopting a pragmatic approach to Inspection on all phases of the EPCC Project, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning, taking cognizance of schedule and budget constraints.

What you'll be doing
As a
QA/QC Inspector, your main accountabilities will be as follows:

  • Advise if duties are not covered by SQEP
  • To maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and other project stakeholders
  • To identify and act upon opportunities for improvement, from audits, NCR's and surveillance visits
  • Assist with the preparation, implementation and maintenance of the Project Integrated Management System.(IMS)
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and any applicable site license conditions
