Job Summary:

  • To manage and develop all aspects of Services delivery in a designated geographical region.
  • Ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence as identified in PCP plan and approaches.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of managers to work enthusiastically with their teams towards identifying and supporting the needs of people with autism.
  • Have responsibility for the performance management of all staff.
  • To undertake managerial duties in line with our and other relevant standards of quality.
  • To participate in the overall planning of Services and accept delegated responsibility for the implementation of identified and agreed plans.
  • Lead in the recruitment and selection process of staff when required.
  • Ensure the maintenance of sound administrative practice of the service by maintaining full and comprehensive records for all service users and service user's reviews as required.
  • Support positive and meaningful outcomes for service users to achieve outcomes in line with their personcentred plans and demonstrating the implantation of person centred planning.
  • To monitor PBS Plans and outcomes for people using the services.
  • To ensure professional, empathetic, and informative relationships with families, carers, advocates and professionals
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes.
  • Accept delegated budgetary responsibility for designated services.
  • Lead responsibility for the staff development of all staff in their services, undertaking training/staff development duties as appropriate.
This advert is for a full-time position 37 Hours. The starting salary for this position is £30,303 per annum. We also offer sleep-in shifts at an additional rate and overtime is optional.

Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families, and will include some evening and weekend working.

A QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is a required qualification for this role and at least 2 years experience of team leader/management in supporting adults with LD/autism
