We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Centre Manager to join our team at Skern Lodge in North Devon. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our centre, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Centre Manager in the day-to-day running of the centre, focusing on proactive and reactive customer service.
  • Work closely with the Centre Manager to drive business growth, track and maintain high NPS scores, and develop innovative revenue opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with local community groups and projects to uphold our excellent reputation and find new business opportunities.
  • Deputise for the Centre Manager as and when needed, and work with the Centre Manager and central teams on marketing strategy and execution.
  • Manage aspects of project work that fall within your skill set, and demonstrate the culture of Skern and Inspiring Learning in all you do.
Requirements:
  • Experience in delivering outstanding customer service in a similar environment.
  • Leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team.
  • Strong commercial understanding and experience in the BtoC / holiday market.
  • Experience and knowledge in marketing strategy and execution.
  • IT literate with an understanding of booking platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and digital).
  • A broad thinker, with the ability to come up with innovative ideas to enable business growth.
