Are you currently in a supervisory/management role and want to join a dynamic team? We are hiring a community team leader to manage and support a team of approximately 70 staff who work in the community, working alongside the deputy manager and registered manager.

What is required?
- Must have an NVQ level 2 in health and social care. A Level 3 is desirable but not essential
- Be experienced in working within a relevant care setting.
- Have experience in supervising a team.
- Be able to work on a two-weekly rota: WK:1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday 7:45-14:00 + 16:00-21:30 WK:2 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:45-14:00 16:00-21:30 You will also be required to provide an on call service to carers outside of office hours on a rota basis.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Have a full, clean driving licence to travel and cover work allocated on the rota (Support at Home roles only).

Main responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to provide leadership to the care functions of Time2Care and work to establish effective employer-employee relationships. As part of your team leader role you will be required to coordinate high turnover care packages where attention to detail is imperative. You should be confident in using computer based systems and full training will be provided for our rostering system which provides essential information for the carers. You will also carry out carer competencies and spot checks and be required to carry out care duties which will allow you to mentor new employees. You will be able to systematically solve day to day problems that arise and be able to work in cooperation with members of multidisciplinary health care teams so as to maximum opportunities for services users therapeutic care.
