Head of Learning and Teaching at Birmingham City University International College


The Head of Teaching and Learning will provide the leadership and vision to deliver excellent student outcomes, quality assurance enhancement and curriculum development that embeds employability into its delivery models.


The person we seek will ideally have the following:

  • Achieved a Master's degree
  • Evidence of workrelated academic and professional development
  • Lead Academic Governance Committee with a focus on developing curriculum, teaching, and learning practices
  • Good understanding of the UK Higher Education regulatory systems and framework
  • Successful record of managing people, budgets, and resources
  • Familiarity with GDPR regulations
