Job Description:

We are looking for talented and highly motivated individuals to join our CGG Satellite Mapping team

Principle Accountabilities
Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Geological interpretation of onshore imagery
  • GIS compilation, support & development for the exploration team
  • Ability to integrate and interprete geological data from a variety of sources

Qualifications:

GIS or extensive use of GIS/remote sensing in a related MSc

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong background in Tectonics & Structural Geology.
  • Strong GIS background (ArcGIS or QGIS preferred).
  • Understanding of Mineral Systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Enthusiasm to interact with the team and across disciplines at CGG
  • Ability to work well both in a team and independently (where required)
  • Working knowledge of various remote sensing platforms used for geological mapping is desired
  • Working knowledge of spatial data from airborne geophysical surveys is also desired
