With engaging stories to tell, there's always something to share with our visitors, and it will be your job to help make sure we're looking after our supporters and delivering the best visitor experience.


This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.

Walls are decorated with feathers, shells and pictures made of seaweed and sand, and every space contains mementoes from the travels of Jane and Mary Parminter, the creators of this extravaganza.

Outside, there's an orchard and hay meadow.

What you'll be doing:

As a Visitor Experience Officer, you'll work across the property supporting visitor operations to ensure cover is in place for day to day opening between April - October.

As a champion of exceptional visitor experiences, you'll join a high performing team and will regularly be involved in the duty management rota helping run the visitor operation.
