Job Description

About the Role

Dalkia UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Cannington Court in Somerset. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs, statutory compliance, and cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a staff team to ensure the effective running of the site, including the coordination of facilities services and operations.
  • Deputise for the Facilities Manager and the Front of House Manager in their absence.
  • Work closely with clients, employees, and visitors to provide exceptional customer service and ensure their needs are met.
  • Plan and coordinate the site facilities teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Ensure the site is fully compliant with all health and safety legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure service delivery meets and exceeds client expectations.
  • Undertake administrative tasks, including basic finance, invoicing, and raising purchase requisitions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and exceed their expectations.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar management capacity, preferably in facilities management.
  • Knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Own transport, as public transport is not available to the site location.
