Agency Securities Finance is a dynamic trading desk within Securities Services, that lends equity and fixed income securities on behalf of asset owners to broker dealers to facilitate their proprietary and client trading strategies.

Where there is a requirement to borrow securities, the Financing Desk negotiates a fee for the loan based on supply and demand, and the type of underlying strategy.

The objective of the Agency Securities Finance group is to create incremental income for participating clients whilst generating fee income for the firm.

With 4 Desks Globally, JPMorgan offers a 24 hour service in 37 different markets.

Job summary


The Agent Securities Finance Pricing and Analytics team is responsible for developing client, trading, and financial resource analytics to price securities lending portfolios & transactions.

It analyzes ongoing client and counterparty performance and performs revenue summary and attribution analysis across all business activity.

The groups aim is to use these metrics so as to continually refine the pricing models, build new innovative data matrices and provide accurate and competitive forecasts of securities lending revenue, while at the same time improving the overall efficiency and return on capital of the business.

The Pricing team is also responsible for Financial Resource Management of the business - RWA, CCAR/SCB and Capital footprint of the business.


Job responsibilities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Interest in equity and fixed income markets (experience in securities lending markets a plus)

Knowledge on BCBS Regulatory Framework for Banks (BASEL III / BASEL IV) is a plus

Highly motivated individual.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Attention to detail.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Math background ideally with Modeling Experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Masters/Undergrad Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g. math, statistics, engineering or other) with 5+ years experience in finance industry.

Team Player

Excellent knowledge of Excel and Bloomberg

Programming skills in Python and SQL knowledge helpful

Ability to work with large data sets and statistical packages

Exceptional communication skills.

Ability to work on own initiative.
