Riverside Leisure Centre is Chelmsford City Council's flagship leisure facility, offering a variety of sporting activities where there is something for everyone.

Every member of staff plays their role, working within an enthusiastic team in a fast-paced environment.


Applicants should be well organised and confident with a flexible approach and a proven track record of working in a busy reception environment within the leisure industry.

With a good product knowledge, the successful applicant will ensure all bookings, administration and payment procedures are carried out thoroughly and accurately.

With the ability to multi-task, the post holder will work as part of the team greeting our customers to the centre, using a high quality customer service approach to ensure a friendly and welcoming environment.

Experience of using computer packages, customer relations and the ability to process payments is essential, however additional training will be given.

Shifts are offered on a casual basis, available Monday - Friday during the daytime. Other shifts may be available for evenings and weekends during the centres opening hours (5.30am pm). As employment is on a casual basis flexibility is a must.
