Where in the world of OVO will I be working?
You will be a member of the Energy Solutions Technical Support Team.

Energy Solutions are a part of the OVO family and assist the business in meeting the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), as well as other Energy Efficiency funding initiatives.

We achieve this by fitting Energy Efficiency measures such as insulation, renewables and new heating systems to domestic properties across the UK.

The Technical Team is an integral part of the business, assisting departments throughout a project during the feasibility, implementation, survey and design stages of an Energy Efficiency measure

What will I be doing?


Reporting to the Contracts and Technical Manager, you will be responsible for data review, control and management on a number of live retrofit projects throughout the UK.


The roles key responsibilities include:

  • Updating and managing all technical supplier data within each project master tracker.
  • Liaising with key project stakeholders to ensure that all information relating to property surveys, assessments, coordination and compliant designs are both accurate and managed to strict timelines.
  • Creating weekly and monthly reports on supplier performance to distribute to the wider Energy Solutions team, Clients and Contractors.
  • Work with the Assurance Team to answer any technical customer queries raised during a project's implementation.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and maintaining all Contractual SLAs/KPIs reports relating to the Technical supplychain.
  • Assisting Sales, Commercial, Operations and Assurance functions to ensure the same high level customer journey and customer expectations are met.
  • Processing of survey and design documentation in line with MCS and PAS compliance.

The role will require excellent communication skills in order to help transition jobs through the job cycle liaising with the team, other departments, and with contractors and clients.


Ideally you will have:

  • An understanding of the Energy Company Obligation (not mandatory)
  • Understanding of the Data Protection Act
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and Google Suite experience
  • Robust communication skills
  • Industry knowledge or the ability to learn the energy efficiency markets
  • Flexible approach to daily work patterns
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence and initiative to be a great problem solver
