We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Human Resources Administrator to join the dynamic HR Shared Services team at Bradford College.

The HR Administrator plays a crucial role in providing flexible, timely, and compliant HR administrative services throughout the HR team, following best practices and relevant policies.

As the HR Administrator, you will embody the values of the College, collaborating efficiently with your HR peers to deliver outstanding administrative support and HR services across all College areas. This will contribute to exceptional outcomes for our students, supporting the College's goal of becoming an employer of choice.

Interviews for this role will be conducted during the week commencing 1st July.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the HR department in delivering exceptional HR administrative functions for all College areas and staff groups.
  • Handle initial queries received by the HR Department, record them appropriately, and escalate to the relevant HR team member for resolution.
  • Assist in maintaining an up-to-date Onboarding and College Induction process for new employees.
  • Assist in monitoring and documenting pre-employment checks for new hires.
  • Maintain HR Database accurately, updating employment records as needed and ensuring accuracy of holiday and sickness records.
  • Generate correspondence and provide necessary documentation to support various HR processes, such as contract management, recruitment, employee relations, and meetings.
  • Manage and update HR Trackers and Onboarding systems as required.
  • Promote a professional team environment focused on quality, efficiency, and first-time service delivery, ensuring all administrative resources are readily available and maintained to high standards.
  • Provide support on ad hoc projects across College areas and central service functions, including business restructuring and continuous improvement efforts.
