PURPOSE OF THE JOB:


Solution Engineer is responsible for creating quality software and data structures that meet the functional and non-functional project requirements in the implementation, enhancement, and support of marketing projects.

This includes producing application code on-time, on-budget, and in compliance with company implementation standards & practices as well as general industry & platform-specific best practices.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluate, recommend, implement, and maintain new solutions based on business needsIdentify opportunities for improvement in existing solutions and recommend changes to be implementedPerform system security assessments to ensure that data is safe from unauthorized accessReview all customer data sources and conduct data mapping required for use cases for deeper data discoveryCreate necessary technical documentation, data models and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) to review & sign-off with Samsung HQ & DDMCUtilize CDP to automate all customer schema data lake & profile design setups within each sandbox environmentConfigure within CDP all necessary identities & privacy settingsSetup BI connections and coordinate with the BI developer for data exports

CORE COMPETENCIES:


High-level communication skills and ability to present ideas in a clean, user-friendly wayDemonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions in the cloud for meeting complex business data requirementsExtensive knowledge and experience working with Big Data platforms, Adobe Experience Platform or similar CDPThird normal form, star schema, Snowflake, etc.

Experience with data modelling, table design, and mapping business needs to data structuresIn depth knowledge in one or more programming languages (e.g. C++, Java, Python, R, PHP)Up to date understanding of best practices regarding system security measuresDegree in Computer science, engineering, or prior experience in software development systems

HOURS OF WORK:
37.5 hour week
