Domestic Abuse Health Advocate

Develop and provide education sessions, consultancy and support to other front-line teams within the multi-agency framework, in collaboration with clinical teams within the Trust
Support the empowerment of the patient and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their personal situation, and support them to regain control of their lives
The post will be based in South Tyneside District Hospital and Sunderland Royal Hospital sites as part of the DAHA services ensuring patients who attend or disclose domestic abuse whilst in STSFT are supported.
The post will support the Designated Nurse within South Tyneside ICB with domestic abuse training and support when required for GPs within the South Tyneside Locality.
**_Post is for 22.5 hours per week. Interviews are expected to take place on 10th February 2023._
